YOU NEED TO OWN THIS BOOK!!!
It is the BEST way to read Grant Morrisonās Batman!
This Deluxe sized book is nicely constructed with stitched binding and nice thick pages.
The paper feels a slightly heavier stock and is slightly less glossy, than that of the previous hardcover editions. The color in this new omnibus also seems more vibrant as well.
It has no new bonus content other than an introduction by Mike Marts.
Tony Danielās variant covers for Batman #676-#683 are now at the back of the book along with Adam Kubertās variant cover for Batman #655.
Thankfully this omnibus not only collects all the issues from āBatman & Sonā, āThe Black Gloveā and āBatman RIPā but theyāve now finally included an abridged version of issues #30 & #47 from the ā52ā series. The pages included focus on Bruce undergoing the Thƶgal ritual in the caves of Nanda Parbat. These events are later brought up by Tim Drake to Alfred in Batman #676 āBatman RIPā, and explain why Tim was concerned with Bruceās state of mind.
One of the BEST new inclusions (exclusive to this omnibus) are two brand new pages written and drawn by Chris Burnham. These new pages fill in events for āThe Resurrection of Ra's Al Ghulā. The new pages are placed just after Batman #670 and another after Batman #671.
This will save you from having to read a drawn out cross-over event, where only two of the issues were actually written by Morrison.
Directly after āBatman RIPā concludes there are two pages of excerpts from āFinal Crisesā bracketing Batman issues #682 & #683 āFinal Crisis: Last Ritesā. These excerpts set up the events and give actual context as to whatās going on, rather than reading āLast Ritesā over and over trying to figure out what was going on like I had to. The second page of āFinal Crisisā excepts shows what happened to Batman, that set up the events for āBatman & Robin: Batman Rebornā whereā¦..

Sure this āspoilerā is many years old, but you always have to try to think of new readers.
Grant Morrisonās Batman is not only one of my favorite Batman runs, but itās also one of my ALL-TIME favorite comic runs as well. There are not many comic stories that I can read and re-read cover to cover. I have read this run numerous times, and can safely say that I have read it more than any other story. Sometimes Iāll even start another re-read after Iāve just finished.
One of the many things I love about this run is Morrisonās voice for Batman.
He can be intimidating. He's not someone you would want to mess with, but he's also very cool. He has a likable quality. He has heart.
Personally I feel there are few writers that even come close to capturing Batman and supporting characters as well as he does, especially his voice for Alfred Pennyworth. Morrison's dialog between members of the Bat-family is a pure joy to read. It's fun spending time with them.
Iām absolutely thrilled to add this omnibus to my Grant Morrison collection, and will be eagerly looking forward to the other volumes!
As Iāve saiid before, if you are a Batman fan then you really do need to own this book!

One of the best Batman runs

This is one of my favorite Batman runs and has some of the best Batman story arc like Rip Batman and Batman inc, I didnāt like the ras al ghul arc tho.

Grant Morrison and Batman Omnibus, You need to own this
Format: Hardcover
I never bought an Omnibus before, I could never decide which one to buy. I got this on my recommendations and it brings great stories like Batman & Son, Batman The Black Glove and Batman R.I.P. 3 phenomenal stories plus so much extra content. The guest stars are great from Damian starting as Robin, Tim Drake, Dick Grayson, Batman Inc, The great Bat-Mite, Ras Al Ghul, Talia, Bane, The Joker, Man-Bat, Alfred who steals the show as always, Gordon, The return of Batman of Zur-En-Arrh which if you know a little bit about the comics it's an amazing suit full of color and the way Grant makes it modern is awesome. The art is amazing, the writing is sharp, the cameos and call backs are incredible. The price is great for some much content. The best story of the 3, is Batman R.I.P.. just when you think Batman is down, he always comes back for more. Go and click add to cart and buy it, you won't regret it.

One of the most important batman stories

Arrived in perfect condition. Grant Morrison is an amazing author. The art work is outstanding. Am almost done with the second volume.
