Get ready for 1930s Hollywood! You are looking at the reason why we love vintage patterns! This fabulous vintage pattern is from 1933. It is a wonderful evening gown that could easily be adapted into a wedding gown.


The side skirt piece is cut to take advantage of bias drape. The back is low cut but not too daring. We were able to find a "convertible" bra at a major department store that worked fine with the finished dress. The front neckline is a flattering V-neck with a triangular cut out for added glamour.

The fit is what you might expect. There is 4" of ease at the bust but only 3" of ease at the hips. Lightweight or dress weight fabrics with a nice drape would be appropriate. Bodice is self lined and the skirt is fully lined.

3 sizes included in pattern. Must choose size to purchase.

PDF pattern is for 42-48 sheets of letter or A4 paper and includes a Copy Shop file for A0 paper (3 pages.)

No more painful cracked heels! These really do work!

These really do work well. This is one of the first winters that I have not experienced painful, cracked heels. They are long lasting, and definitely make my heels smoother and softer after wearing them. For the first few times wearing them I simply went with the moisturizer embedded in them. After a few uses I then covered my heels with Aquaphor Advanced Therapy Healing Ointment. This worked even better, and I would recommend it. I am very glad I bought these. You can use them without a moisturizer, but I like to put moisturizer on my heels, then wear these overnight, and in the morning my heels are soft, with no dry skin and NO cracks. I like the fact that these are kind of soft and fuzzy (outside), but I LOVE that they leave your toes exposed and cool (because my heels feel kind of warm from the moisturizer and gel pad). They are of good thickness, and I feel they will last a long time (of course remains to be seen). Highly recommend.
