ESSENTIAL for all parents and educators to read

As an elementary educator for the last fifteen years, I finally found a book that put all the frustration and wondering of why kids come to school struggling, drained, and overwhelmed. Borba states, "We are creating strivers, not thinkers, produced to be test-takers while missing the opportunity to be people."
She points out that we are all running on empty. In her book, she discusses the 7 core strengths that kids need in order to shine. If you are worried about your children's mental health, depression, anxiety, and stress, you must read this book.
